Hajj & Umrah - ** 2018 Hajj Packages now available to book **

Mecca/Makkah – al-Mukarramah loosely translated as "the holy city of Mecca" is located in Saudi Arabia. Makkah is the most sacred city in the world for Muslims as it contains the Kabah. The Kabah is considered the first house built for the worship of the one God. Initially built by Adam the first man and prophet and later rebuilt by Abraham and his son Ishmael.

Medina/ Al-Medina-al-Munawwarah, "the radiant city"/Madinat-al-Nabi, "the city of the prophet". It is the second holiest city in Islam, and the burial place of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Hundreds of thousands of Muslims come to Medina annually to visit the Tomb of Prophet and to worship at the oldest mosque in Islam: Al-Masjid an – Nawbi (The Prophet's Mosque).

The Pilgrimage to Mecca attracts millions of Muslims from around the world. There are two pilgrimages: Hajj and Umrah.

Hajj is obligatory upon all Muslims to perform at least once in their lifetime. Every adult, healthy, sane and with the financial means must perform this pilgrimage.

Although Umrah is not obligatory it is recommended in the Quran (Holy Book) to perform this pilgrimage.
